EOSS-318 Colorado Space Grant Consortium DemoSats - Recap

EOSS-318 was launched from Deer Trail Colorado as a single 3000g balloon with payloads from Colorado Space Grant Consortium college.  All payloads were recovered east of Kirk Colorado.  The balloon reached  106,023 ft maximum altitude.

 

Original Announcement: 

One 3000g balloon and one 1500g balloon or three 1500g balloons carrying DemoSats and BUFF payloads.  If cloud cover prevents flying 3000g balloons, the flights will split into 3 1500 gram balloons.

        • 146.940 MHz (-600 KHz Offset, 103.5 Hz CTCSS) Rocky Mountain Radio League (RMRL) Repeater if the RMHAM machine is down
        • 146.640 MHz (-600 KHz Offset, 100.0 Hz CTCSS) Denver Radio League (DRL) Repeater will serve as a backup to the backup repeater
