Color Commentary from W9CN:

Just a  quick note of Thanks! to all of those folks who helped us track and recover EOSS 304 & 305.

Really appreciate the extra effort and all of the driving to outside of Peetz Colorado and Sidney Nebraska!

It was a “Textbook" track, cutdown and recovery.

The EOSS 304 team collected it up in record time.. Jim KC0RPS got landowner permission in what seemed like seconds and Brad KE0YAL, Jeff N6BA & Danielle KD8YQL got the payloads out of a freshly planted field with minimum impact.  Nice Video N6BA

Really Great Work on this!

And the Dynamic Duo of Batman and Robin (AKA Rob N0RPS and Doug N0BRA) were right on top of EOSS 305.  Special Cameo Appearances by John K0JWB and Nancy K0NKK who along with 'RPF, 'BRA trekked out into Mike Weezers field to make it happen (along with Marty WA0GEH!).  Tom KE7KCK lead the students to the landing site, Jim 'RPS delivered the 304 payloads to Tom KE7KCK for delivery back to K0SCC.

Mike Weezer and his family were very nice once they figured out I wasn’t trying to sell them something!  They declined our offer to check out the payloads, something about a football game they wanted to watch.  Go Huskers!!

And Kraig Murphy, KD7JNQ (2017 Eclipse Liaison for Goshen County Sheriff) drove down from Torrington WY.

Last but certainly not least John N0JPS who skillfully cut down both 304 & 305 following the outstanding instructions from Mark KC0D (who called us to make sure we weren’t having issue doing it).

If I have inadvertently missed someone/something let me know.
