Flight Tracking Live

Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS) is an amateur radio-based system for real time digital communications of information of immediate value in the local area. Data can include object Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates, weather station telemetry, text messages, announcements, queries, and other telemetry. EOSS uses APRS to track the balloon's location for not only the FAA's information but to assist in the recovery of the payload. EOSS can track multiple balloons at one time. Note that the image below is from previous flights to show as an example. On the day of the flight, the tracking will change to the current flight(s).
