Simplex Repeater

The Simplex Repeater is a light weight repeater that employs an Alinco DJ-C1 tranceiver, a Radio Shack repeater (discontinued apparently) an antenna and some batteries.

Operation:

Transmit up to 30 seconds of audio on the input frequency (listed in the flight announcement).

Un-key and the repeater transmit the contents of its digital memory. At the end of the transmission is a distinctive courtesy beep which should help users discern the difference from the input signal and the repeated signal.
