Eoss has moved our General Email List Server over to Yahoo Groups. Type your email address (real, not reflector) into the form below, and click Join Now! You will be added to the list.
Yahoo Groups offer some very nice new features to the list. Two of special interest:
In order to use these features you need to visit the Web Page for the list at:
If you are NOT a Yahoo Member, you will need to create an account. It's free!
Be sure to use the email address where you get your EOSS List or you will not be able to view the Web Page.
Many amateur radio operators use their callsigns as Yahoo IDs. You may or may not at your discretion. However, when you fill out your profile, I would suggest you at least include your real name. This makes it easier on folks trying to figure out who sent a particular email message, rather than having to decipher it from a cryptic email address. However, you can leave your profile completely blank and preserve your privacy should you wish.
General email addresses for the EOSS List:
We started a special E-Mail list exclusively for members of the Launch Team a few years back. Originally this was thought to be a good method of keeping Launch Team members informed about upcoming launches while keeping the traffic light. However, over the years it has evolved into more of an EOSS_Technical email list. Membership is NOT automatic, you have to be approved. However, only an interest in the tech aspects of ballooning are required now, you do NOT have to be on one of the launch teams. The approval process remains only to screen out spammers, not limit who can participate.

I've started a new YahooGroup to do JUST ONE THING. Announce flights.
Enter your email address below to join. I would STRONGLY suggest you actually go to the website for the group too. There are several features that may be of interest.
This list is open to ALL persons and groups who wish to announce their flight schedules. I have posted the scheduled flight date for the next EOSS flight on the calendar, YOU may post upcoming flights to this calendar too. There are no restrictions (currently) on who may post to the calendar, so if your group has a flight scheduled, post it there. You can also set the calendar to email group members of your announcements automatically.

Tracking and Recovery team members may wish to join this new list. How much it is used will be up to the participation and number of individuals who join. However, it may serve as a useful place to exchange traffic only of interest to this group of folks.
